Billy: We missed kick off so you are right. It must've all been just before kick off. Bit of trouble after the game too where we were.

I trust that nobody is suggesting that UEFA have been tasked with "fitting us up" based on certain recent travelling West Ham "fan" related events that gained widespread negative media coverage.

I didn't see anything at all and I was outside the stadium from about 3 hours before kick off until 15 minutes before kick off.

I didn't have a ticket and was trying to get in by any means possible. Everything was fine outside. I had Genk supporters trying to get me in, Belgian West Ham supporting corporate fans trying too. I got into the Genk fans bar inside the stadium, the ticket office, car parks and everywhere else.

I met a number of other people outside including the Belgian Irons from Ypres and Bruges who were in the Home section and a German Hammer with no ticket.

There was no hint of trouble outside anywhere.

So if anything did happen it was just before kick off.

About 15 minutes before kick off I found someone who had a spare ticket because his mate was too pissed to get to the stadium.

I used my magic flying horse actually Northern.

If we've been banned due to getting attacked by Genk fans and fighting back that seems illogical.

Well that paints a bit of a different story...

See Fifth... this is what happens when you fly into the stadium directly on your flying carpet... you miss all the fun !!

However - Having said that I also agree this ban seems a bit harsh. I'm pretty sure this thing goes on all the time with most clubs in Europe.

Crowd I was with - Some had tickets, some didn't, others had to go to swap vouchers at the ground etc etc - So we all got split up.

Myself and fella I was with tried to get in the Genk end by paying the fella at the gate but got told to lose ourselves or he would have us kicked.

We came out and stumbled across what appeared to be the tail end of a skirmish. Big crowd of their mob with skull masks. The old bill waded in to push them back and what was left was a few West Ham with some facial injuries. Swollen eye, bloody nose. One fella had a bad gash on his forehead which was pissing out.

That same mob then started picking off randoms. People that weren't really there for a scrap. Taking advantage of the fact that the main West Ham mob had dispersed. It was then that this undercover fella shouted out and told all the West Ham to follow him. A little motely crew of about 20 gathered round him and we saw our opportunity and just jumped in with them. He then led us to the ground and in.

After the game you could feel the tension. As my crowd started to re-form we found ourselves in a bigger crowd of West ham and there was a stand off with a Genk mob that came again. About 20 of them with skull masks on again. At one point it was gonna go but then the stormtroopers got in the middle. Load of English undercover shouted to us to fuck off or get nicked. It all settled from there and then we got our cab back to Brussels.

One of our crowd had been involved in a big tear up in the car park. He said probably about 30 West Ham and 30 Genk. That was before the game and told old bill sorted that one out. We also heard of various other skirmishes around the ground. A few of the older boys I know got done with dusters which left some nasty cuts and bruises. We also heard about other little tear ups also.

I have also seen footage of the car park fight and it looked a bit tasty to be honest.

I'm not sure if the ban is due to the magnitude of any one particular kick off - Probably more to do with the fact that the OB were running around all night trying to fight fires.

Take your claret and blue specs off. We can have no complaints whatsoever considering we could be banned for about 5 separate incidents.

Russ

What do you mean by "kicked off big time"? Anyone get hurt? Or a few scuffles outside the ground?

I just didn't see anything in the media at the time and so this ban seems out of the blue.

Re: How was it in and around Genk then?
Kicked off big time before the game. But the old bill were on it very quickly.

Undercover then went round hoovering up random West Ham fans and led them to the away entrance and just got them in. That's how i got in without a ticket. Happy days.

Saw this after our home match. Vienna were banned aswell.

West Ham have been fined £50,000 by UEFA after crowd trouble at their Europa League game against Rapid Vienna.

Rapid, though, have also been fined £50,000 for the behaviour of their fans in the away end of the London Stadium. They have also been ordered by UEFA to play one game without away fans in the competition.

What’s the betting Declan will now get a fine or even a ban for daring to slag UEFA.

Re: How was it in and around Genk then?
The stadium announcer was ranting about punishment for incendiary devices before they’d even got the first flare off the pitch, they had to mobilise someone to remove the first one, Coufal saw what a farce it was and how long it was taking picked the other one up by the safe end, he’s no fool, and threw it off. We all know the worlds going fucking mad , just another instance.
The Belgian police were as up for it as the Zagreb lot.
It’s all to do with us being massive

Declan tweeted sagging UEFA and then deleted it apparently.

Asked why Rapid weren't punished for their fans behaviour
